The Device Management feature allows customers to:

- Register one most trusted device to be granted full device management rights:
- Approve/deny login access for an unauthenticated device.
- Revoke login access for an authenticated device.
- Monitor login information for all devices.
The Device Management feature is part of the Security section under Account Information.

Login Methods and Device Identification
When logging into a trading account on unverified devices, customers need to:
Step 1: Authenticate access using the original device for approval (*) or via SMS OTP.
Step 2: Choose whether to remember the device's authentication status:
- If "Remember" is selected, the device will become a verified device.
- If not selected, the device will require access authentication for subsequent logins.
(*) The access authentication request is sent to the original device and displayed at:
- The Device Management feature screen - Device List section; or
- The Pending Confirmation screen in My Inbox section.
For more details, refer to the Device Management feature guide on the VPS SmartOne application here.
Additionally, VPS recommends that customers take the following measures to protect the trading accounts:
- The device on which you currently have SmartOTP installed is identified as the original device and has full Device Management features. Please ensure you manage this original device securely and always use it to proactively monitor and supervise login activities to your trading account.
- Never provide your password, SMS OTP, or SmartOTP to anyone. Proactively change your password every six months or immediately if you suspect it has been compromised.
- In addition to the Device Management feature, VPS recommends customers fully implement the following security measures:
- Change your password every six months.
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on the VPS SmartOne application.
- Use SmartOTP for authentication.
- Use fingerprint or facial recognition to access SmartOTP.
