Broker Market Share On Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange: VPS Ranks #1
The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) has recently announced the Top 10 brokerage market share in Q3 2024, VPS retains it's leading position on the top of the table, holding the 1st position in the 15th quarter consecutively with current market share of 17.63%, almost double compared to the runner-up, SSI. Also, the 10 largest brokers collectively total about 67.81% of trading volume on HOSE, a little bit down from previous quarters.
Ha Noi CPC1 (DTP VN) - Notice on Ex-dividend Date
DTP announced that the next Ex-dividend Date is 17th October 2024. Recorded shareholders will receive VND500 per share held, equivalent to 5% payout ratio (on charter capital), settled on November 11, 2024.
This is the 2nd round of cash dividend for 2023 business results, after the 1st round of VND1,000 per share in June 2024. The company reported its reviewed financial statements for H1 2024 with net revenue of VND585 billion (about USD23.8 million, up +18.7% YoY) and net income of VND123 billion (about USD5 million, up+39.4% YoY). DTP VN was traded around VND158,900/s on October 7, 2024, leading to a market cap of VND2.58 trillion (about USD105 million), and also 10.5x P/E and 3.0x P/B.
Vicostone (VCS VN) - Phenikaa Group uses VCS VN shares as collateral
VCS parent company holding over 84% ownership, the Phenikaa Group, announced that they allocated 7.5 million shares, equivalent to 4.7% total shares outstanding, to guarantee Vicostone's debt payment responsibilities in their recent bond private placement which closed on 30th September 2024. Phenikaa offered VND320 billion of bond, ticker PKACH2431001, with coupon rate of 8.2% p.a. and 7-year tenor, meaning these bonds are due in 2031.
In 2023, Phenikaa raised VND900 billion from 2 bond private placements with the same tenor but lower coupon rates (fixed portion at 6.2% p.a. and floating component around 5.87% p.a.). Vicostone announced its reviewed financial results for H1 2024 with net revenue of VND2,248 billion (about USD91.4 million, up +3.5% YoY) and net income of VND456 billion (about USD18.5 million, up +10.0% YoY). VCS VN closed at VND62,100/s on October 7, 2024, down -25.0% from its 52-week high of VND82,800 per share in June, hence 11.2x P/E and 2.0x P/B. Vicostone market capitalization is about VND9.94 trillion (about USD404 million).
