Mobile World Group (MWG VN): Leveraging its stores for Vinfast’s charging stations
The leading technology products retailer announced the cooperation with V-Green – a member of Vingroup (VIC VN), in which MWG will allow V-Green to setup charging stations at the former’s TGDD and DMX stores. By the end of this year, they plans to have 350 charging stations (mostly for Vinfast’s electric cars) and 1,360 battery swapping stations (for Vinfast’s electric motorbikes). This cooperation could benefit both parties with robust passive income to MWG and charging station coverage to V-Green/Vinfast. MWG VN closed at VND80,300 per share on 16th September 2025, thus 24.5x P/E and 4.0x P/B.
KienlongBank (KLB VN): Submitted listing filings to HOSE
The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) announced that it received the listing registration of KienlongBank on September 15th. Normally, the final decision is made within 30 days from the date of announcement. In 2025, the bank targets to have EBT of VND1,379 billion (about USD52.4 million, up +24% YoY), and in H1, it completed nearly 67%. KLB VN was last traded at its price ceiling of VND27,700 per share, suggesting 8.5x P/E and 1.4x P/B.
Coteccons (CTD VN): Won a VND3.4 trillion contract in Long Thanh International Airport
ACV announced that the HANTA2 partnership, including Coteccons, Hancorp (HAN VN), and ATAD, is the contractor for a sub-project of Long Thanh International Airport. The sub-project covers the No.1 Air Cargo Terminal and supporting infrastructure, which could handle 550,000 tons of cargo when put into operation. Before that, Coteccons with FECON (FCN VN) and No.1 Construction (CC1 VN) together won a VND3.1 trillion bid in February. CTD VN closed at VND81,900 per share on 16th September 2025, hence 18.4x P/E and 0.9x P/B.
Techcombank (TCB VN): Cash dividend declared
The bank declared cash dividend of VND1,000 per share but did not disclose Ex-dividend date yet. It is just the 2nd time Techcombank has paid cash dividend since listed in 2018, with the 1st time happened in last year. In related news, the IPO of its securities company – TCBS, was oversubscribed (official allocation ratio: 40.188%) with cash settlement. TCB VN closed at VND39,250 per share on 16th September 2025, meaning that 13.1x P/E and 1.7x P/B.
ABA Cooltrans (unlisted): Returns to private status
The venture-backed logistics company to go private again after shareholder restructuring, which resulted in 99% interest owned by 4 investors. Being one of the market leaders in cold storage and cold chain transportation. ABA Cooltrans went public in 2022, expecting to be listed but never made the move to list on any changes.
