FPT Corporation (FPT VN) - Cash dividend declared
FPT Corporation will record the list of its shareholders to pay dividends and the Ex-right date is 2nd December. Shareholders will receive VND1,000 per every owned share on the Settlement date, expected to be 13th December. In the 2024 AGM, the tech giant proposed cash dividend of VND2,000 per share, meaning that there will be another dividend declaration in the near future. The firm also announced its YTD 10M 2024 business results, recording net revenue of VND50,796 billion (about USD2 billion, up +20% YoY) and pretax income of VND9,226 billion (about USD363 million, up +20% YoY). It also means that FPT already completed 82% and 85% of Its FY2024 projected revenue and profit. FPT VN closed at VND130,000 per share on 19th November 2024, down -8.3% from its all-time high in early October, thus 25.5x P/E and 6.4x P/B.
HATAPHAR (DHT VN) - Japanese major shareholder wants to increase its stake
ASKA Pharmaceutical, the largest shareholder and owning 35% of HATAPHAR, registered to purchase more 500,000 DHT VN shares. If successful, the Japanese shareholder will have over 29.3 million shares in total, meaning 35.6% of shares outstanding. ASKA Pharmaceutical is a subsidiary of ASKA Pharmaceutical Holdings (4886:TYO) and also the strategic shareholder of HATAPHAR for years, especially advisor to the new project of Japan-GMP high tech manufacturing facility. By early October 2024, only 25 manufacturing facilities were certified EU-GMP or Japan-GMP (an equivalent to EU-GMP). After coming into operation, expected in 2025, it will supply around 2 million units annually to the domestic market as well as export markets (j.e. Japan). HATAPHAR reported its Q3 2024 financial position with net revenue of VND544 billion (about USD21.4 million, up +13.7% YoY) and net income of VND19 billion (about USD0.7 million, up +8.0% YoY), DHT VN closed at VND72,700 per share, marginally down -1.1% from its all-time high, thus 87.7x P/E and 5.7x P/B.
Vinhomes (VHM VN) - Two days remaining in buyback
Latest update on 19th November, Vinhomes has repurchased over 190 million shares within 20 trading days, securing 51.4% of the registered maximum amount. As a result, there are approximately 180 million shares available for Vinhomes to buy back. YTD, 9M 2024, the real estate developer reported net revenue of VND69.910 billion (about USD2.75 billion, down -26.1% YoY) and net income of VND20,600 billion (about USD811 million, down -36.2% YoY). VHM VN closed at VND42,200 per share on 19th November 2024, down-12.5% from its recent high last month, hence 9.0x P/E and 0.9x P/B.
