TRADING STRATEGY
The stock market closed slightly lower at 1,630 points, with liquidity improving above the weekly average. Selling pressure spread across most sectors, while buying demand appeared in selected individual stocks in financial services, oil & gas, and service-related industries. Today, the VN-Index is expected to fluctuate in the 1,620–1,640 range.
The market experienced volatility after surpassing the 1,630–1,650 resistance zone. Profit-taking and portfolio reduction pressure has been increasing, especially among leading sector stocks. Buying demand remains focused mainly on individual stocks supported by macro policies or company-specific fundamentals. Foreign investors recorded their third consecutive strong net-selling session. The VN-Index still maintains its primary upward trend. However, repeatedly reaching new highs may trigger more intraday volatility and selling pressure. The key short-term support zone is around the psychological 1,600 level. At this stage, investors should prioritize controlling overall portfolio weight, combined with stock-specific risk management. New buying positions will be more suitable for investors holding high cash ratios, while chasing prices during sharp rallies should be limited. Instead, consideration can be given to fundamentally strong stocks with solid accumulation bases.
