TRADING STRATEGY
The stock market closed in the red for the sixth consecutive session, retreating to 1,826 points, with improved liquidity compared to the average of the previous week. Selling pressure tended to increase towards the end of the session in some large-cap VN30 stocks in the financial and oil and gas sectors. Conversely, buying support emerged in individual stocks in the real estate and technology sectors. Foreign investors narrowed the scope and value of their net selling. Despite a relatively sharp decline compared to the previous five-session losing streak, the VN-Index showed signs of waiting capital in many stocks with relatively attractive fundamental valuations. This move is likely to play a significant role in creating more positive developments in the upcoming trading sessions.
Today, the VN-Index is likely to fluctuate around the 1,810-1,835 point range. Investors should closely monitor the price movements of existing stocks in their portfolios, as well as strategic stocks on their pre-selected buy-waiting list, in order to seize opportunities when the market reverses upwards.
