According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), in the first 10 months of 2025, Vietnam's seafood exports reached 9.5 billion USD, up 16% over the same period in 2024. Shrimp and pangasius continued to be the main export items with a total value of 3.9 billion USD and 1.8 billion USD, respectively, corresponding to growth of 22% and 9% over the same period last year. Vietnam's main export markets include China, the US, Japan and the EU.
The State Bank has approved the "Banking Industry Digital Transformation Strategy to 2030" identifying people and businesses as the center and driving force of the transformation process, with the goal of 95% of the population aged 15 and over having a transaction account, the value of non-cash payments being 30 times GDP, and 50% of banks completely digitizing the retail lending process.
TRADING STRATEGY
The stock market recovered positively, reaching 1,654 points with liquidity slightly increasing compared to the average level of the previous trading week. Cash flow spread slightly across most industry groups under the leadership of real estate, finance, construction and materials stocks. VN-Index today is likely to fluctuate around the 1,650-1,665 point area.
The market returned to a positive state after two consecutive sessions moving sideways in a narrow range. Selling pressure decreased, active buying power increased. Cash flow continued to show signs of improvement although the general sentiment was still somewhat cautious. Large-cap stocks, which played a leading role in industry groups, returned to their leading position. If the above positive developments continue, it is likely that VN-Index will soon complete the target of conquering the resistance zone near 1,655-1,665 points to move towards the psychological zone of 1,680-1,700 points. Investors should pay attention to controlling the proportion and managing the portfolio in the short term according to the price fluctuations of individual stocks instead of the general index. Buying activities for the medium and long term vision can be considered in part at support price zones, prioritizing basic stocks with good growth potential or in attractive areas compared to the valuation period of 2025-2026.
