On August 6th, CafeF announced the Top 10 private securities companies contributing the most to the state budget in Vietnam, recognizing VPS Securities as the leader in this ranking.
Accordingly, the list of the top 10 private securities companies contributing the most to the state budget is part of the broader list of the largest tax-paying enterprises in the country, particularly highlighting private enterprises under the name PRIVATE 100 - Vietnam Largest Taxpayers (compiled by CafeF). In this PV100 list, VPS ranks 21st out of the 100 private enterprises with the highest tax contributions.
Data aggregated from the 2023 consolidated financial statements show that the top 10 securities companies contributing the most to the State budget are, in order: VPS, TCBS, SSI, VNDirect, HSC, Vietcap, VPBankS, HDBS, TPS, and ACBS.
In 2023, the total pre-tax profit of securities companies is estimated to reach nearly VND 22,000 billion, up 40% compared to 2022. Thus, the total tax contributions (corporate income tax, personal income tax, VAT, contractor tax, etc.) of the top 10 securities companies alone amounted to nearly VND 7,900 billion, accounting for almost 36% of the total industry profits.
