A conditional order is an order for underlying securities with accompanying conditions. The order is activated and automatically placed into the market when the specified conditions are met.
Currently, VPS provides the following conditional orders for underlying securities:
- Time-Contingent Order (TCO): Buy/Sell orders with a specified quantity and price placed before the trading session from 01 to several days until the order is fully matched or cancelled.
- Stop Order: A conditional pending order with a predetermined set price and activation price determined according to the investor's risk appetite and acceptance level. When the market price fluctuates in the investor's direction, the order will be automatically activated and pushed into the system.
- Stoploss/Take profit Order: A new stock purchase order with accompanying conditions to sell securities to preserve profits or limit the risk acceptable to the investor.
- Trailing stop Order: Buy/Sell orders with set Buy/Sell prices automatically adjusted to follow the market's upward/downward trend, helping investors achieve the most optimal price within the expected range.
