Vietnam Rubber Group (GVR VN) - Cash dividend in December 2024
The state-invested industrial group announced a cash dividend for 2023 profit, paying VIND300 per share to shareholders on 12th December 2024. The Ex-dividend date is 14th November 2024. Despite not yet having published consolidated financial reports, the company estimates 9-month net revenue of VND16.2 trillion (about USD639 million, up +11.8% YoY) and pretax income of VND2.85 trilion (about USD112 million, up +16.2% YoY), equivalent to 65% and 69% of revenue and profit projection, respectively. GVR VN closed at VND32.500 per share on 28th October 2024 GVR is up +95.8% from its 52-week low, and recent average daily trading volume is about 3.36 million shares.
Vinasun (VNS VN) - 6th consecutive quarter of negative profit growth
The taxi operator announced bearish financial results for Q3 2024 with quarterly net revenue of VIND246 billion (about USD9.7 million, -21.2% YoY) and net income of VND21 billion (about USD0.8 million. -35.9% YoY). Explanation from the company for its performance, included comments on subsidizing its own cab drivers and affiliate drivers, and so on. However, Vinasun has completed 68% and 74% of revenue and profit projection for FY2024. Meanwhile, major shareholder Tael Two Partners has been continuing to sell and has already sold around 5 million shares year-to-date, decreasing Its stake from about 12.4 milion shares to just 7.44 million shares, equivalent to 11% of shares outstanding. Tael has registered to sell another million shares, within 30 days starting from 30th October. VNS VN closed at VND10.200 per share on 28th October 2024, down -19.7% from its 52-week high, hence 8.1x P/E and 0.6x P/B, and recent average daily trading volume is about 0.22 million shares.
GELEX Group (GEX VN) - Earnings release Q3 2024
GELEX announced its financial results with consolidated net revenue of VND8,709 billion (about USD343.5 million, up +16.3% YoY) and net income of VND99 billion (about USD3.9 million, down -19.0% YoY). GELEX has recently received an A rating (from VIS Rating) on its issuer's long-term creditworthiness with stable cutlook. GEX VN closed at VND20,600 per share, down -19.2% from its 52-week high, thus 17.1x P/E and 1.3x P/B, and recent average daily trading volume is about 5.8 million shares.
Eximbank (EB VN) - Q3 PBT up +194%, YoY to VND904 billion
YTD: Asset growth was up 11%; Credit growth 13.6%; Deposit growth was up 7%; 9M 2024 PBT was up +39%, YoY, at VND2,377 billion. EIB Closed at VND19.850 per share.
