The Ministry of Construction has proposed amending the Housing Law, adding a provision that ownership of apartment units terminates when the building reaches the end of its lifespan or is subject to demolition. The draft also stipulates a mechanism for renovation, reconstruction, or compensation to ensure the rights of owners after the apartment building is demolished. Meanwhile, the Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Association (HoREA) proposes maintaining long-term ownership rights due to concerns about the impact on people's rights and the stability of the legal system.

TRADING STRATEGY
The stock market closed the first trading session of the week in the red, retreating to 1,800.54 points, with trading volume exceeding the 20-day average. Selling pressure emerged early and intensified in the early afternoon, particularly in leading stocks in the banking, financial services, and retail sectors. Meanwhile, buying support mainly came from individual stocks in the real estate and oil and gas sectors. Foreign investors resumed net selling. Although the VN-Index narrowed its decline after retesting the 1,760-1,780 point support area – corresponding to the June 2026 low – it is still too early to confirm that the market has ended its short-term correction and returned to a medium-term uptrend. The index still faces the possibility of retesting the area around 1,770 points before rebounding to the 1,860-1,880 point range. Many stocks that recently experienced significant corrections are now trading at attractive levels, less affected by negative market developments, and are expected to play a supporting and leading role in the index's upcoming recovery.
The VN-Index is likely to fluctuate between 1,780 and 1,810 points today. Investors should closely monitor the price movements of stocks during the trading session and maintain a reasonable portfolio allocation. Prioritize holding stocks with positive Q2 earnings results, and consider making partial investments in stocks with attractive valuations.
